Bavaria
On Day 10 we took a train ride on an ICE train which went 250 km/h
(faster than I can drive) down to Augsburg. The next day we rented a
car from Sixt Car Rental and drove down to Neuschwanstein Castle where
Ludwig II lived for a time. We stayed at a guest house in a suburb of
Dinklebuhl which itself is a very small and old town. The suburb had
about twenty houses and was in the middle of farmland. The people at
the guesthouse didn't know English so I stuttered in awfully-spoken
German. It was the best and cheapest place of all that we stayed. We
drove through Germany on the autobahns and saw Rothenburg and Bamberg
and then returned the car in Munich.
