London was our first destination on our trip. We flew straight from
Boston into London Gatwick on an overnight flight. Having gotten no
sleep we were awfully tired the first day, however we soon got into
the spirit of sightseeing. English food didn't suck that badly and
the first day we ran into somebody we knew by pure coincidence, David
Kaplan. We stayed at a very small but sort of nice hotel that was 15
pounds a night a person (a youth hostel was 12 pounds a night).
Places we visited included Westminster Abbey, Greenwich Observatory,
Tower of London, the British Museum, and St. Paul's Cathedral.
