Back to Munich Front

The mornig of Day 14 we went to the Deutches Museum, a giant, kickass science museum.

Wow, German government is efficient. They have a minister for everything, even sneezing.

Inside the Frauenkirche in the center of Munich near the Marienplatz

We then go up one of the towers of the Frauenkirche. This is a view toward the west and the train station.

Here's a view toward the Olympic Park.

Now we are looking down on the Marienplatz. It is almost time for the Glockenspiel.

And here's the Glockenspiel, all these little figures dance around for a couple minutes three times a day.

Now we are on top of the tower in the Olympic Park. That is the infamous Olympic village. I got to take a helicopter ride when I was up here. (Not a real helicopter though.)

Here is the BMW factory and museum in Munich. We went to the museum but it sort of sucked. I couldn't enjoy all the exhibits unfortunately because I was paged unnecessarily.

A look back toward the center of Munich. There is a picture of the Frauenkirche with its two towers.

And finally we leave Munich. This is the train we took from Berlin, it is an ICE train and second class in this train was like first class in most other trains. It was totally awesome.
