Back to Paris IV

The business district of Paris from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. I didn't even take a picture of the Arc, I just take pictures from the top of things. We went to the top of thirteen things (not including mountains and hills), including five churches.

My camera has a zoom lens. There is some big square building with a hole.

Here is the Eiffel Tower and you can see Invalides to the left.

That's Sacre Coeur.

Here is the Champs Elysees with Place de la Concorde (the obelisk) and the Louvre way at the end. The Champs Elysees is one of twelve roads that intersect at this rotary.

We then went to the Picasso Museum. Here is one of his earlier works.

If I remember correctly he painted the in 1908 with his friend Braque. It was the beginning of cubism.

One of the many guitar pieces that Picasso did.

Here is a replica of his famous guitar sculpture. He makes negative space into postive space.

A Cezanne piece in Picasso's personal collection.
