Back to Switzerland Pictures I

The next day I go to the Chateau de Cillon which is at the other end of Lake Geneva from Geneva. They had a lot of grafitti on these pillars in the dungeon both from medievel times and modern times. I would guess that Vinnie is modern graffiti. Someone famous was chained to this pillar, I think Lord Byron and his name is carved into the pillar. Either the WB is for Lord Byron or is an advertisement for the fifth network.

A view out the window across Lake Geneva. France is on the other side.

Different coats of arms.

One of the courtyards. The Chateau is very old, parts are over a thousand years old.

Here's a view from the outside of the Chateau.

And a beautiful view from a distance.

Giant ants are a problem in Switzerland.
