Ted Oppenheimer, my relative I always stay with in Chicago, was at the
Marriot Marquis right in Times Square. I went up to his room to view
the spectacular view that they had at about 1:00 on Dec. 31st. They
were on the 35th floor, just about the same level as the ball which
you can see in the picture.

I went down in the crowd afterward to see what kind of view I could
get if I wanted to hang around for twelve hours in the cold. Not bad,
but I could have easily gotten closer at this point if I had wanted
to.

are loading film in Andrew's camera. Definately a photo-op that
can't be missed.
